Tohify moves to a managed model: every job now runs through the Tohify team

Tohify has changed how it works. Until now the site was an open marketplace: any seller could list a service, set a price and talk to buyers directly. From today every job runs through the Tohify team. You tell us what you need, we match a verified professional, we stay in the chat, and the payout goes to the professional only after the work is confirmed.

Why we made this change

Buying a service in China from abroad is an act of trust. You cannot be at the factory, the fair or the wholesale market yourself, so you rely on a person you have never met. On an open marketplace the platform verifies a profile once and then steps aside. We saw that this was not enough for the jobs our clients bring us: factory audits before a deposit, inspections before shipment, interpreters for negotiations, sourcing of new suppliers. These are jobs where one wrong report costs real money.

Three things drove the decision.

• Quality. Every professional on Tohify now goes through a review by our team: identity, documents, licence for companies, experience and languages. We assign the person who fits the job, not the first one to answer.
• Security. Your payment stays with Tohify while the work is in progress. Contact details are shared only when it is safe to do so, and every conversation has a Tohify manager in it. If something goes wrong, you deal with us, not with a stranger.
• Accountability. One thread, one manager, one order. You always know who is doing the work, what has been agreed and what happens next.

How it works for clients

1. Tell us what you need. Open Messages and start a request: city, dates, what to check or buy. A manager replies in the same chat.
2. Get an offer. We match a verified professional and send you an offer with the scope and the price. You accept it inside the chat.
3. Follow the work in a working chat. Each accepted offer gets its own chat with the professional and the Tohify manager: photos and video from the site, a task list with progress, and the order status in one place.
4. Confirm and pay out. When the job is done you confirm it, or our manager does after checking with you. Only then is the professional paid.

The catalogue of services with Basic, Silver and Gold packages stays. Every service in it is sold by Tohify and delivered by one of our verified professionals.

How it works for professionals

Professionals no longer create listings or negotiate prices with buyers. You apply once, in the app or on the site: who you are, what you do, your documents. After verification, Tohify assigns jobs to you, you deliver them, and your payout is credited to your Tohify balance when the order is completed. Your rating grows with every completed job.

What stays the same

The same services, the same cities, the same app. Existing conversations between clients and professionals have been kept, with a Tohify manager added to each of them. Your orders, reviews and balance are untouched.
